We're reprinting, yet again, Alan Riach's brilliant English versions of Alasdair Mac Mhaighstir Alasdair's Birlinn of Clanranald and Duncan Ban MacIntyre's Praise of Ben Dorain. And to mark the occasion, Professor Riach paid a visit to the grave and monument of Duncan Ban (1724-1812) in Greyfriars Kirkyard in Edinburgh.
